# Follow-ups

> [!TIP]
>
> **Admins**, **Reviewers** and **Task Reviewers** can send Follow-ups. **Members** can read them. See [Roles](https://support.duna.com/roles.md#reviews).

A Follow-up is one or more questions you can send to a [Connection](https://support.duna.com/connections.md) during the course of a [Review](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md). Use it when information provided is missing, unclear, or doesn’t match.

Each Follow-up is a thread. The business can see your question in the context of their Onboarding, reply to your question, and/or update their Onboarding accordingly.

## Create a Follow-up

There are two ways to create a Follow-up, depending on what you’re asking about:

* **About a specific piece of information.** Click the Follow-up button next to the relevant information, for example inside a [Review](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md) task. Your question goes to the business together with that information, and their reply comes back attached to it.

* **About anything else.** In the Follow-ups panel at the bottom of the [Review](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md), click **Add custom follow-up**. Choose a recipient, write a subject and your message.

Any new Follow-up you create starts as a draft.

## Send a Follow-up

When you’ve written everything you want to ask, click **Send follow-ups**. All drafts go out at once, so the [Connection](https://support.duna.com/connections.md) gets a single email containing all your questions.

Sending hands the Onboarding back to the business so they can update their information. The [Review](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md)’s status becomes *Awaiting reply* until they resubmit.

> [!WARNING]
>
> You can't accept a Review while a Follow-up is a draft, awaiting a reply, or has a reply you haven't resolved. Resolve or delete every open Follow-up first. Declining isn't blocked.

## Track responses

You can find all [Reviews](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md) awaiting a response from the [Connection](https://support.duna.com/connections.md) and assigned to you in the [my follow ups](https://dashboard.duna.com/reviews?view=my-follow-ups) tab.

Inside a [Review](https://support.duna.com/managing-reviews.md), the Follow-ups panel shows every Follow-up you have created on it, along with its status. When the business replies, you can resolve the Follow-up to close it, or write back to clarify further.
